These foam filters do get clogged over time, and a restricted filter is one of the most common causes of flat spots, poor idle, and sluggish throttle response on the Leader motor ET4.
This is the premium version of the OEM Piaggio foam filter, the 4874010P, which is a step up from the standard 487401. The premium designation means a higher quality foam element with better filtration while still maintaining the airflow your carburetor expects. It's a direct drop-in replacement.
